Branding Guide + Logo Utility
- I designed a branding guide for a client in order to help his advertising team appropriately manipulate the logo for merchandise, ads and online platforms.
Sketches
- My work flow always starts out with sketches to find what shapes are interesting. I decided to lean towards a simple fish design and use geometric shapes.
Workflow
- After finding a suitable typeface, I manipulate the negative space between the letters for more geometric lines to match the fish logo.
Logo Utility
- Below I detail how efficient the new logo is for the business and how well the color palette communicates across all platforms. Using typography correctly gives graphics a personality, I make sure to explain why I choose this font.
Logo Etiquette
- I also provide essential rules to follow when manipulating the logo (Do's vs Don'ts). Handling a logo properly requires understanding what's appropriate to change.
